About AYAN:

The Ayrshire Youth Arts Network is a new youth led initiative funded by Creative Scotland as part of the national 'Time To Shine' youth arts strategy. Its purpose is to enrich young people’s lives through arts and creativity.

Aims:

The Ayrshire Youth Arts Network aims to:

1. Increase arts opportunities for young people aged 11-19 by 10%, including access to more opportunities for ages 0-25 years

2. Develop a regional infrastructure for arts

3. Establish sustainable infrastructure to give young people a voice and support to make decisions

4. Improve collaboration between organisations and artists

5. Raise profile of the arts for the regions young people

6. Implement and sustain a digital media platform
